Desktop Fiber Laser Marking Machine
The desktop fiber laser marking machine is the workstation unit in our fiber range. Use it when parts come to a bench — production, assembly or inspection. It marks metals and engineering plastics at 20–100W, 1064 nm, with an air-cooled source (IPG, JPT, Raycus or MAX).
Best for
- Repeat serials, logos and QR on small-to-medium metal parts
- A dedicated marking cell next to assembly or QC
- Shops that want a fixture, optional rotary, integrated AC or fume extraction
Not for
- Chassis, tanks or machines that cannot come to the bench (handheld)
- Unattended conveyor coding (fly)
- Hallmarking jewellery as the main job (gold)
- A complete marking workstation inside a cabinet (enclosed Fiber)
- Marking zone only inside a chamber, with the controller outside (enclosed marking chamber)
vs siblings
Same fiber process as portable and handheld. Desktop is the open (or lightly guarded) station. Enclosed Fiber houses the whole workstation in a cabinet. The enclosed marking chamber format encloses only the marking zone. Portable is the box you move. Handheld is the gun.

Configure the workstation
Configure the marking workstation around your application, environment and production setup. Integrated climate control and fume extraction are available where required. They are options on this desktop format, not separate machines. If the whole workstation must sit in a cabinet, use Enclosed Fiber. If only the marking zone must sit in a chamber, use the enclosed marking chamber format.
-
Integrated AC
An integrated AC option for installations where controlled operating conditions are required around the laser source and electronics. Ask on the quote; we do not publish a temperature band from the photograph.
-
Fume extraction
Integrated extraction for applications where marking fumes or particulates need to be captured rather than released into the surrounding workspace. Jewellery shops use it to collect process fumes and fine residue. Closed rooms and laboratories use it so fumes are not left to circulate in the cell. Extraction does not replace the rest of the site’s ventilation or laser-safety rules.
-
AC + fume extraction
Integrated climate control and fume extraction can be combined for installations with both environmental and process-extraction requirements. Specify both on the quote.

Motorized Z, F-theta lenses, rotary for cylinders, integrated AC, fume extraction.
Why this model
Stable fixture, short setup, the usual first fiber machine for a plant that has a marking station.
FAQs
- 20W vs 50W vs 100W?
- Depth, speed and hard metals push wattage up. We set it after a sample.
- Enclosure required?
- For an open workstation, local guarding may be enough. When the complete marking setup must sit inside a cabinet, that is Enclosed Fiber. When only the marking zone must sit in an interlocked chamber with the controller outside, that is the enclosed marking chamber format.
- Plastics?
- Some yes with fiber; heat-sensitive parts → UV.
