UV Laser Marking Machine with Enclosed Marking Chamber
A UV laser marking setup with a dedicated enclosed marking chamber around the work area. The chamber separates the marking zone from the surrounding workspace while keeping the controller and supporting equipment externally accessible. Same 355 nm, 3W to 10W process as desktop UV.
Best for
- Electronics, medical or plastics cells that need the marking zone inside a dedicated chamber
- Layouts where the controller and chiller must stay outside the enclosure
- The same cold 355 nm process as desktop, with an interlocked marking chamber where the machine supports it
Not for
- An open UV bench (desktop UV)
- The complete workstation housed in a cabinet (Enclosed UV)
- Moving bottles and film at line rate (fly UV)
- Deep metal IDs (fiber or dot peen)
vs siblings
Same UV wavelength as desktop. This format encloses the marking zone in a dedicated chamber and leaves the controller outside. Enclosed UV houses the whole workstation in a cabinet. Desktop stays the open station.

What is an enclosed marking chamber?
This is a UV laser marking machine format with an integrated enclosed marking chamber. The chamber surrounds the marking head and work area. It is not an accessory window on a desktop, and it is not a full cabinet around the entire workstation.
How the chamber works
The door or access panel forms the enclosure around the marking zone. Where the actual machine implementation supports it, operation can be interlocked so the laser runs only when the enclosure is closed. We do not publish a laser class unless a certificate is on the quote.
Machine and controller arrangement
The marking head and work area sit inside the chamber. The controller and chiller remain outside the chamber so they stay accessible without opening the marking zone.
Configure the workstation
Built-in AC, fume extraction and workholding are options on this chamber format. They are not separate machines. Chiller size follows the UV source, as on desktop UV.
-
Fume extraction
Captures marking fumes or particulates in a closed electronics or plastics cell. Extraction does not replace site ventilation or UV-safety rules.
-
Integrated AC
Available where the room needs controlled conditions around the source and electronics. Specify on the quote; we do not publish a climate spec from a catalogue photo.
-
AC + fume extraction
Both can be specified together with rotary or other workholding.

Features
- Dedicated chamber around the marking zone, not a full-machine cabinet
- External controller accessible outside the chamber
- Optional fume extraction and integrated AC on the quote
Materials
Plastics, PCBs, glass, ceramics, coated electronics, many medical polymers. Metals are not the reason to buy this machine. Always trial dark, filled or glass-filled plastics.

Fume extraction, integrated AC, rotary, motorized Z, UV-blocking window — specify on the quote.
Why this model
A UV marking cell when the marking zone must sit in a chamber and the controller stays outside.
FAQs
- Is this a Class 1 laser?
- We specify an interlocked marking chamber where the machine supports it. We do not publish a laser class unless a certificate is on the quote.
- Is this the same as the Enclosed UV cabinet machine?
- No. Enclosed UV houses the complete workstation in a cabinet. This page is the chamber around the marking zone, with the controller external.
